What No Hangers collects

You choose what to add. Depending on the features you use, No Hangers may process your email and account ID, garment photos and metadata, outfits, wear history, preferences, fit notes, optional body references, requested weather context, wishlist items, purchase status, and privacy-safe support diagnostics.

Calendar titles remain on your device. Precise coordinates are not stored by No Hangers. No Hangers does not collect contacts, microphone recordings, HealthKit data, or biometric identity templates.

Where information is processed

Garment background removal and exact duplicate hashes are processed on your iPhone. If you create an account and turn on secure account backup, selected wardrobe records and images are copied to private Supabase storage and Postgres tables scoped to your account.

When you request cloud garment analysis, a catalog image, a trend-aware response, or an on-you preview, No Hangers sends only the selected information and inference copies needed for that request through an authenticated server gateway. Provider access, model choice, retention, and spending are controlled by server policy.

Body references and try-on

Body references are optional and are not included in a normal wardrobe migration. An on-you preview sends the body reference and selected garments only after you request that preview. Results are approximate styling visualizations, not predictions of size, fit, body shape, or comfort.

Purchases and subscriptions

Apple processes App Store payments. RevenueCat may process your No Hangers account ID, product, transaction, and entitlement state so the app can verify purchases and restore access. No Hangers does not receive your full Apple Account payment credentials.

How information is used

• Provide wardrobe cataloging, search, sync, styling, packing, and analytics.
• Deliver AI features you explicitly request.
• Verify purchases, entitlements, allowances, and credits.
• Prevent abuse, duplicate processing, and accidental duplicate charges.
• Respond to support, privacy, export, and deletion requests.

No Hangers does not sell personal information, serve targeted advertising, or track your activity across other companies' apps and websites.

Retention

Local data remains until you remove it or uninstall the app. Synced wardrobe data remains until you delete the relevant item, cloud wardrobe, or account. Generated catalog and try-on outputs are kept for no more than 30 days by default unless you delete them sooner. Export links expire after 15 minutes, and included private-asset links expire after one hour.

Billing and transaction records may be retained for accounting, refund, fraud, and legal obligations without wardrobe content. Resolved support reports are expected to be removed after 90 days, subject to legal and security needs.

Your rights and controls

In No Hangers, open Profile to export your data, delete individual garment, body-reference, or try-on images, delete only the cloud wardrobe, or delete the cloud account. Deleting an account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

For an access, correction, deletion, or privacy complaint that the in-app controls do not resolve, open Profile, choose Support, select Privacy, and submit a report. Do not include wardrobe, body, calendar, location, or payment images.

Security and international processing

No Hangers uses private per-user database rules, private storage, authenticated server functions, short-lived signed links, encrypted transport, and iOS secure storage for local secrets. No system can promise perfect security.

The staging service is hosted in Canada. Some approved processors and model providers may process requested data in other countries under their applicable contractual safeguards and privacy terms.

Children

No Hangers is not directed to children under 17. Do not create an account or add body-reference images if you are below the minimum age permitted in your country.

Changes and contact

Material changes will be dated here and, when appropriate, explained in the app before they take effect. For privacy questions, use the Privacy support category in No Hangers so the request receives a privacy-safe report ID, or email support@nohangers.com.

Use of No Hangers

You may use No Hangers for personal wardrobe management. You are responsible for information and photos you upload, for keeping your account secure, and for using the service lawfully. Do not upload content you do not have permission to use or attempt to access another person's account.

AI and styling information

AI classification, brand and material recognition, trend summaries, shopping ideas, and styling explanations can be wrong. Review important details before relying on them. Try-on images are approximate visualizations and do not establish fit, size, drape, body shape, product authenticity, availability, or price.

Subscriptions and Studio credits

No Hangers membership is an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription billed by Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. Renewal, cancellation, refunds, taxes, and storefront disclosures follow the terms shown by Apple at purchase.

Cancellation stops the next renewal and access normally continues through the verified paid period. Restore Purchases is available in Profile. Deleting No Hangers or its account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Studio credits are consumable, are granted only after a verified store event, and cannot be exchanged for cash. A catalog or try-on job shows its credit price before dispatch. If no provider cost occurs, its reservation is released. Ambiguous provider results may be held briefly for reconciliation to prevent duplicate grants or charges.

Service availability

Local wardrobe features are designed to remain useful during a cloud outage. Account sync, live weather, shopping discovery, and requested AI can be unavailable, delayed, or changed when a provider fails or when safety, privacy, abuse, or spending controls require suspension.

Your content

You keep ownership of your photos and wardrobe content. You grant No Hangers the limited permission needed to store, transform, sync, and process content only to provide features you request. This permission ends when the content is deleted, except for short-lived backups and records that must be retained by law.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, No Hangers is provided without a guarantee that every recommendation, classification, image, price, source, or service will be accurate or continuously available. No Hangers is not professional medical, financial, legal, or safety advice. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

Suspension and termination

Access may be limited for abuse, fraud, security risk, unlawful use, or attempts to bypass metering and account isolation. You may stop using No Hangers and delete your account at any time through Profile.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, subject to mandatory consumer rights in your location. Updated terms will be dated here. Material changes may require notice or renewed agreement in the app.
